The beauty of Chattanooga becomes apparent on the first evening and that is exactly why I have been going back ever since with my camera in hand. Here are some of my favorite photos.

Chattanooga is a place I just keep returning to. Between my first visit (that turned out a bit longer than I planned) and my last visit (when the mountains were on fire) I have seen a lot of beautiful places in this city. Now I’ve put together my favorite travel photos from Chattanooga, Tennessee. Which of these is your favorite?
This was the view my very first night in Chattanooga. Needless to say I fell in love immediately.
The view on a boat cruise with the aquarium. That’s Lookout Mountain through the window.
I saw my first roadrunner I at the Chattanooga Zoo! I thought he would have been more blue.
Point Park on Lookout Mountain has a stunning overlook of Chattanooga.
The Chattanooga Farmers’ Market had a little bit of everything, including these flowers.
The Walnut Street Bridge has been converted to pedestrian use only and makes a beautiful photographic subject.
The food aboard an excursion with the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum was pretty good. So were the views.
A giant turtle at the Tennessee Aquarium.
I never got tired of this sunset view.
Or this view from Rock City on Lookout Mountain.
One of the breathtaking sunset views on Lookout Mountain.
The aptly-named Sunset Rock is an easy, short hike on Lookout Mountain.
The Incline Railway is a neat attraction, a good way to reach the top of Lookout Mountain, and a great place to watch summer thunderstorms.
Once again I bring you the Walnut Street Bridge.
Aretha Frankensteins has great food and interesting decor in the house-turned-restaurant.
This hidden spot at Point Park on Lookout Mountain has one of the best views of all.
