From New York to Georgia the Appalachian Mountains feature some of the most beautiful vistas in the country and it only gets better in the fall. As deciduous trees begin their annual show of color people get out of the house for long drives on scenic routes, exciting hiking trails, and gorgeous scenic overlooks. After spending the last five years capturing photos of the fall colors throughout the Appalachian Mountains here are thirty of my favorites. Which of these is your favorite?
